Are you aware of the penalties for using hidden text? This out dated technique is Spam. Never try to add keywords or text to a page, in the same color font as the exact background color, thus making text appear hidden.
Spam Alert: Don’t EVER use hidden text, hidden links or hidden “anything” on a page unless you want to risk setting off some warning flags and risk getting in trouble.
Today we launched MoreUK’s new look, a part of the Customer Street group. We looked at the current directory style and realised that it was very difficult to read.

We have now added more colour and also added a Google map to make navigation to a business easier. We feel the look is now more appealing and hope you do too. If you have any ideas on things that you would like on MoreUK please don’t hesitate in contacting me. leejohnson@customerstreet.com
People do search for the strangest things. I can across this when I was looking at search terms looked for on the internet. This just shows each searcher is individual and you should consider all walks of life when optimising a site for the search engines.
Don’t just optimise for the most obvious terms, it may be better to go for a niche term that other websites might not be aiming for, for one you will have less competition which will make it easier for you to get you site higher up the SERP’s for that phrase.
Bangor Roofing has had 224 hits in its first week. Its a great achievement considering its only been a week since the site has been live.
We built, wrote and uploaded the site last Friday and already the site is flying. We have now as of Wednesday added two new pages to add extra listings on the SE’s. We have 118 keyword phrases in in the top 30 of Google and we are aiming for several more the next time Google indexes the site.
