Just before the turn of the century Google announced its arrival to the online community. In the years following Google consistently expanded to become the largest search engine in the world. As their market share grew search engine optimisers started to pay more and more attention to the Google algorithm and what it takes to be at the top of the new “number one” search engine.
EVERY search engines primary goal is to provide the best quality, most relevant search results possible and the way each search engine does this varies considerably. As most of you know Google has successfully established itself as the search engine of choice and one of the key aspects in the way Google’s decides its search results is website cross linking.
Due to the fact that Customer Street is such a huge network, we need to understand when changes are implemented and introduced on our network of sites, what outcome they have on the search engines. We are continually striving to increase our brand via the Search Engine Results Pages and increase awareness.

Here are some ways they can find your site:
I recently bought an Apple iTouch. Having used it online it came to my attention that CustomerStreet only has one facility for using a mobile device in WAP screen size format from all our network of directories.

We are currently in development to add this facility to our directories. The site will auto detect what the user is viewing the site with (mobile, PDA and browser). This will then display our directories in the best possible format for the user.
