Thought it was time to give an update on how Bangor roofing is doing on Google. Here is the initial Bangor Roofing article if you need to catch up

Just to recap, I was asked to test to see how quickly a site can be indexed on Google and more importantly what sort of positions I can archive for a roofer in Bangor.

We bought a brand new name and built a website from scratch, the site went live Friday morning.

Here are the results:

SERPS results

One thing I did find remarkable when doing this test is that this site: roofersroofers.co.uk is no1 on Yahoo for the term: Bangor roofer. It defies belief that Yahoo accepts so much spam in its index when Yahoo are constantly striving to get their algorithm to show the best possible results in their index. What was even more of a surprise to me, Google also has many of “chey adams” sites in there index too. Google is so hot on spam but some will always get through the net. Well these wont as I have sent an email to Matt Cutts at Google to inform them of this guys spammy techniques.

What you should realize and keep in mind is that you can manipulate the likes of MSN and Yahoo but Google gets the most searches per day by far, so get you site right for Google, its easy they even give guidelines for everyone to follow.

Forget rankings in the other search engines, they receive so little traffic per day in comparison to the juggernaut, the big “G” its a pointless exercise and time consuming.
