When you visit a website, do you ever wish that you could find a particular piece of information on that site? Or, are you ever not able to find a specific product or service that the site probably sells?

In such moments, you realise the “gold” that this site is missing. But as a potential customer, you know about it - don’t you?

Okay, put the shoe on the other foot so you’re now the SEO or Web site owner.

  • What do your customers wish they could find on your Web site?
  • What bits of information are they looking for?
  • What products or services do you sell that are difficult to find?

Find out from them what they’re looking for. It is better to sell a product or service that your client is looking for rather than one that might have a high return that you just cant sell. Potential clients are the key to get your stock/services purchased.

SECRET: Spend the time to pick up the phone and call a few of your best customers.

You won’t be sorry you did.

Customerstreet has taken the above advice on board and has several trade specific portals that are dedicated to a particular industry which makes it easier for the user to find exactly what they are searching for. We are continually looking for ways to make our directories more user friendly and easier for searchers to use. If you have any great ideas please make contact: lee johnson
