Content is King

You may not realise it but content is KING. When working on your website content remember to “flesh it out” in the re-write process with a few additional synonyms of your focused keyword phrase. You want your article highly focused on your topic, but it should not sound spamy with the same keywords repeatedly used in an un-natural way. Google loves to see synonyms and antonyms and descriptive related text used in your copy so that your content reads well to a human being.

Make your website content interesting

Make your website content interesting to the reader and contain information that makes your content (copy) different other web pages that offer similar services or products. Yes its easier said than done but with practice this will become easier and give you a better chance to get good listings on the search engines.

Keyword Specific Sections

Make each section of your page content specific to one topic. As you can see by this article, it is broken down into sections, making the reader find what he/she is looking for easily and quickly. How many times have you done a search and left a web-page due to the fact that you could not find what you were looking for. Each section (title) should at minimum contain the keyword phrase that the section discusses.

Things to remember in Content Writing

Pick 3-4 main keyword phrases that are all related - here is an example: website design, our website design skills, website design costs, FREE website updates. Write them down, put them in an order that flows. Then write the content within each section remembering to include the main keyword phrase in the copy (a max of twice per 200 words as a rule of thumb). One last thing, remember not to make the sentence’s/paragraphs too long or the reader might not even read it. Good luck and happy writing.
